2024 Bishop William L. Higi 领导 Award
The nomination process for the 2024 Bishop William L. Higi 领导 Award is now closed.
Recipients will be announced in conjunction with the Guerin Catholic Gala invitations being sent in December and winners will be recognized at the Gala on Friday, 2月9日, 2024.
The Bishop William L. Higi 领导 Award is presented annually to individuals who promote and live out the mission of Guerin Catholic High School.
Bishop Higi was the founding Bishop of Guerin Catholic High School. In the face of opposition and constant setbacks, Bishop Higi put his faith ahead of his fears and was the catalyst in opening a new Catholic High School in Indiana for the first time in over 60 years. 到今天为止, more than 19 years after Guerin Catholic opened her doors, the school has been recognized consistently as one of the top Catholic high schools in the nation.
The Bishop William L. Higi 领导 Award is presented annually to one person, couple or organization from each of the following categories:

Open to any person or organization that supports the values and mission of Guerin Catholic High School, including former 教师 or 工作人员 members of Guerin Catholic
教员/员工
Open to current 教师 or 工作人员 members of Guerin Catholic
校友
Open to all Guerin Catholic 校友
提名 should focus on activities and service that build community and will honor award recipients for their commitment to the students and the overall mission and community of Guerin Catholic.
至少, each nomination should include a paragraph (500 words max) that states the category of nomination and establishes the candidate’s (individual/couple/organization) qualifications with clear and concise detail. Nominator’s contact information must be included. Anonymous nominations will not be accepted.
Award recipients will be announced in early December via the invitation to the 2024 GC Gala, the event at which the awards will be presented.
Guerin Catholic alumni, 教师, 工作人员, and friends are encouraged to submit nominations online or complete a nomination form and mail it to:

• (1) past winner
